I bought these specifically to wash evening makeup off before bed and I love them. They are baby washcloths so don't expect a full size item if you purchase them. The cloths measure 8"x 8". They are woven tightly with an elastic in the threading so they do stretch nicely. One side is soft and smooth and the other side has a soft short looped threading. I use the smooth side for my eyes and the looped side for my face. They are easy to wring out and since they are white I can throw them in the wash if I'm bleaching other whites if the make up stains start to discolor them. The only thing I don't love is that the edges curl up. I'm ok with it because I know it does that because of the elastic threading and these are just for me only and not a guest washcloth.it's 80/20 but in the product description it says "100% cotton." I'm disappointed about that because I need it to retain moisture and these do not.I bought this product for washing my face. My skin is very sensitive and prone to breakouts. I wanted something that I could use to gently scrub without aggravating my skin.I'm very happy so far, a great price and it comes with several washcloths. It has a textured side and a smooth side which, having the choice is good for washing delicate areas like under my eyes. The only down side is it is very thin material. So it just depends on what you are looking for.first of all, they are cotton, unlike what another reviewer stated, terrycloth, which does stretch. and they are not meant to be adult washcloths, so the other poor review should be deleted. as baby washcloths, these are the best. they are the perfect size and oh so soft. I buy them for all my friends who have babies. once you use these you'll never want to use a regular washcloth on your child again. my kid is 3 now, and I still prefer these for the bath and for washing his face. I always dread when they are all in the dirty laundry, because regular washcloths are so big, rough, and heavy when wet compared to these. If you haven't tried them, you don't know what you're missing!I've bought a number of these wash cloths. They are wonderful if you're looking for a small, thin washcloth to wash your face and/or a baby. I cant use bulky big wash cloths at all. These are easy to wring out, and that's a benefit when washing a squirming baby or toddler. Unfortunately because they're thin, they don't hold up well. But since they're cheap, I just buy more. These washcloths are smaller than I thought they would be but are perfect for washing my face and for my son to wash his face which was what I bought them for. They're gentle enough for kids and have just enough texture for a light exfoliation. They do curl up after going through the dryer but it's not really a big deal.I thought that I was getting traditional wash cloths with this order. Instead, they were very delicate facial cloths. They are much thinner and smaller than wash cloths. You would take perhaps an hour to wash in the shower using these. Instead, they should be seen as delicate facial cloths...in fact, they are so delicate that I could use them to dust off screens and clean eyeglasses.Seen as a fine, soft, little cloth for screens, glasses, and spot cleaning the face, these are fine. If you wanted a big, floppy washcloth for the shower or tub, these are definitely not what you were looking for...I got these along with the Spasilk 10 Pack one that's also popular and they are exactly the same except for the colors. Each of them is thinner than a slice of cheese and its hard to grip when ur scrubbing normally. I bought them for my face and I wish they were a little rougher because they don't get all the oil and makeup off my face as nicely as I would like them too. They are also really hard to grip because they stretch and are super small. I have only washed them once so far and they are already starting to roll in on the ends.Don't bother, these are small and flimsy & not so soft...maybe because of the tape they roll around EVERY cloth in the package causes the fluff to rip off! Btw... took longer to peel that tape off than it took for deliveryI bought 7 packages of these to reduce our paper towel consumption. I noticed that much of our paper towel use is to dry hands after washing as nobody likes to use a dish towel that someone else has used. These wash cloths are small and thin like a paper towel. We use them for drying hands and cleaning up water or milk spills. So far, I am seeing a marked reduction in paper towel consumption for our family of six. I am happy.Very soft and easy to clean. Using it to clean our pup’s paws after walks. I have a bunch of of them in a plastic box by the door. I soak them in water and a bit of coconut oil - and it really helps with dry paws.I’m sure it’s cheaper at a dollar store and that’s where I’m getting the next packages at.I bought these to use as eye compresses for one of my eyes that requires wiping on a regular basis. They definitely very a good value . They were small and did the trick. That being said if I was purchasing these for my baby I would think they were a bit flimsy and a bit too small for an adult to use on their baby- they would be a good size for baby to hold and play with though. So depending on what you want to use them on they may or may not be ok. They are very absorbent considering how thin they are and wash up well- no shrinkage.I got these for my face, not for my baby. I wash my face every morning with one and I find it a little rough on my skin, compared to other cotton cloths (like ones I have for my baby). But I just tell myself that it's an exfoliant so it's dual-purpose... I'm not sure if it will be more of an issue in the summer when combined with sun exposure when I typically wouldn't use an exfoliant every day. I also find the edges roll up when the cloth is dry which is a bit annoying for folding/putting away.
